The European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF), an accredited and licensed training provider, announces the introduction of two new postgraduate certificates, one in “Corporate Governance” and a second in “International Financial Regulation”, both commencing in October 2020.
Both certificates have been designed by the EIMF academic team and will form part of the “MSc in Governance, Risk and Compliance” – a post-graduate Master’s Degree that the EIMF intends to offer in the near future; this is currently under review by the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA).
The aim of the certificates is to offer in-depth knowledge in two critical areas (Governance and Regulation) that have gained prominence in the financial industry, especially following the global financial crisis that was to a great extent attributed to poor governance structures and inadequate and/or ineffective regulation.
Both certificates are offered long-distance, via the EIMF learning platform and participants can cover the syllabus at their own convenience and individual pace. The syllabus will be covered in 14 weeks, where for each week the participant will be offered lecture slides, reading material (through an extensive reading list) and individual or group assignments.
Furthermore, there will be 5 live online sessions with the instructor. Participants will be required to commit, on average, around 4-6 hours per week and additionally prepare an assessed assignment and undertake an exam in order to complete the course.
Participants in both Certificates will receive masters level knowledge and acquire expertise that will enhance their professional development, in a way, that will also be beneficial to the institutions that employ them.
The EIMF is offering a special Introductory Fee of €650 (VAT included) for each of the upcoming Certificates.
